The convenient & versatile agricultural storage solution
Shield Canopy is the industry-leading container canopy – creating temporary covered space or longer-term storage, making it an ideal alternative to the permanent steel shed.
Spanning between two standard shipping containers, Shield Canopy can be installed quickly without any permanent fixings, making it easy to create a sheltered area on the yard.
The multi-use space is perfect for grain storage, protecting tractors & machinery, covering a work area, and more.
Shield Canopy is available in widths of 8 metres, 10 metres, or 12 metres, and can be specified in lengths to fit standard 20ft & 40ft shipping containers.
Shield Canopy’s MAGNAtube® steel framework is clad in a hard-wearing waterproof cover, providing a robust shelter from adverse weather. Designed and manufactured in the UK, Shield Canopy is engineered to British & European standards for wind and snow loading, so it’s more than capable of standing up to harsh conditions.

Shield Canopy™ combines heavy-duty MAGNAtube® and Z35 structural steel in its framework to ensure it stands the test of time. With our cross-bracing and tensioning system, the canopy is highly resistant to damage from adverse weather.
Unique clamping system
Our clamping bar uses a special configuration of clamps and fixing plates to secure the canopy frame to each shipping container without any cutting, drilling, or welding. The clamping bar utilises a neoprene rubber strip to create a seal between the canopy and the containers, minimising any water ingress into the covered area.
Durable PVC canopy cover
The canopy’s cladding is constructed from a 600gsm PVC coated fabric, which is fully tensioned across the steel frame. The fabric cover is capable of exceeding 20+ years in lifespan.
Designed to withstand wind & snow
Shield Canopy™ is engineered to perform in demanding conditions. Wind loading is calculated to 500N/m2 (equivalent to 102km/h) in line with European standard BS EN 1993. Snow loading is calculated to 420N/m2 and drifted snow load is calculated to 840N/m2, in line with BS EN 1991.
Simple to install
The canopy has been designed and manufactured for ‘self-build’ installation and comes with detailed instructions for assembly. If required, installation can be provided as part of a comprehensive supply package within mainland Britain. Shield Canopy™ is available for delivery worldwide.
Shield Canopy™ can be configured to suit your site, creating the perfect sheltered space to fit your requirements.
Partial Gable End Wall
Also known as a “gable D section” or a “half moon”, this end panel can be optionally specified at one or both ends of the canopy structure to provide additional protection from the elements.
Full-Height Gable Wall
To completely enclose one end of the sheltered area, we offer an optional full-height wall panel.
